Georgina Magnolia Round by 7Gods is from their Georgina collection and features a body in black carbon fiber with magnolia flower shaped shades in hand beaten brass or marble cast. Each fixture is made by hand and totally unique in both size and composition. Magnolia Round is available in size ranges from 31″ to 79″ and in either a full bloom layout which has the Magnolia shaped light shades covering the piece or in a half bloom layout where the Magnolia shaped light shades are strategically placed. Artist process in creating each fixture: The artists of 7Gods use actual tree branches that are doweled together to form the shape and layout of the body of each fixture which becomes the mold for the frame of the piece. When a client orders a 7Gods creation, this process is started from scratch so that no two fixtures are ever the same. After the branch structure is completed it is then hand-wrapped in multiple layers of carbon fiber and resin. Once cured, the carbon fiber structure is carefully opened, the tree branches are removed and replaced with the electrical components of the piece, and additional layers of carbon fiber are then applied. In the final stages, the lighting elements and finishing of the carbon fiber structure occur to complete the artist's vision.
