6038 Floor Lamp by Angelo Brotto for Esperia

Originally conceived by renowned designer Angelo Brotto in 1959 for Esperia, the 6038 has been faithfully reissued using advanced 21st-century technology while preserving the spirit and elegance of the original design. During his visits to oversee the development of new creations for Esperia, Brotto often stayed in the Piazza del Duomo in the historic town of San Gimignano. It was there that the 6038 was conceived, inspired by the iconic skyline of the town’s medieval towers, often referred to as the “Medieval Manhattan.”

This striking architectural influence later echoed far beyond Italy, as those same towers famously inspired architect Minoru Yamasaki in the design of New York’s original World Trade Center. The 6038 stands today as both a timeless lighting piece and a tribute to enduring architectural vision, blending Italian heritage with contemporary craftsmanship. UL listing available.
