Brass & Bronze
Polished brass and polished bronze are un-lacquered, unless otherwise requested, to allow a natural patina to develop over time.

-Maintenance: Un-lacquered polished brass/bronze surfaces can be re-polished using a polishing cream with a soft, non-abrasive cloth. Do not use polisher or cleaning chemicals on any satin brass/bronze, blackened brass/bronze or patinated brass/bronze finishes. To clean, dust gently with a soft, non-abrasive cloth.
Blackened Steel and Plated Steel
Our blackened steel and plated steel products are lacquered to prevent rust. Lacquered surfaces are durable but should be treated with care as it is possible to chip, crack, or scratch the protective coating.

-Maintenance:
Do not use any chemical cleaners, abrasives, or polishing compounds as this could affect the appearance of the finish. To clean, dust gently with a soft, non-abrasive cloth.

Restoration:
-For significant damage, professional restoration is recommended.

Stone

To care for precious stone countertops and tabletops, prioritize regular cleaning with neutral pH cleaners, avoiding acidic or abrasive products. Protect the surface from heat, heavy objects, and spills, and consider sealing for enhanced protection. Marble and other softer stones:These stones may be more susceptible to etching and staining, so extra care is needed when cleaning and using them
Maintenance:
-Use neutral pH cleaners: Opt for stone-specific cleaners or mild dish
soap and warm water
-Avoid acidic cleaners: Stay away from vinegar, lemon juice, and other acidic household cleaners, as they can etch the stone.
-Clean spills immediately: Wipe up spills of acidic foods like wine, citrus juices, or vinegar as soon as possible to prevent staining.
-Use coasters and trivets: Protect the countertop from hot pots, pans, and dishes by using coasters and trivets.
-Avoid heavy objects: Be cautious when placing heavy objects directly on the countertop, as they can chip or crack it.
-Use cutting boards: Avoid chopping or slicing directly on the countertop to prevent scratches.
-Dry thoroughly: After cleaning, dry the surface with a soft cloth to prevent water spots.
-Avoid prolonged exposure to heat: While stone is durable, excessive heat can cause thermal shock and cracking. Use trivets that allow airflow under hot items.
-Be mindful of spills: Even sealed stone can be etched by strong acids or harsh chemicals, so clean up spills promptly.
Sealing and Protection:
-Regularly seal: Most natural stone countertops benefit from sealing to protect them from stains and damage. How often you need to reseal depends on the type of stone.
