Metal + Resin
Maintenance:
-Clean surfaces with Windex or a mild countertop cleaner, applied to a soft cloth.
-For minor surface scratches, apply a small amount of mineral oil, gently rub with a soft cloth, then clean the area again with a mild spray and dry cloth.

Important Environmental Information:
-Keep pieces away from heat sources, air conditioning vents, and direct sunlight to avoid fading or drying.
-Maintain consistent humidity (35–45%) to prevent cracking or warping.
-Do not expose wood or resin surfaces to excess moisture or extreme environmental shifts.
-Use coasters or pads to prevent heat or moisture rings.
-Avoid contact with rubber, plastic, or sharp objects which may mar the surface.

Restoration:
-To restore the surface of metal or resin elements, professional cleaning and polishing are recommended.

Metals:
Most metals on SVDA pieces are delivered with a live finish unless specified differently. The live finishes are designed to naturally patina over time.
-Maintenance (live and lacquered finishes): Clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Do not use commercial or heavy-duty polishes or waxes as they may scratch or damage the finish.
-Restoration: To restore a polished finish on an item with a live or non-live finish, we recommend that they be professionally cleaned and polished.

Glass and Crystal:
Maintenance:
-Glass and crystal can be cleaned by wiping with a soft, damp cloth or glass cleaner with no additives.
-Apply the glass cleaner to a soft cloth rather than directly onto the fixture to avoid overspray that may damage other finishes.

Restoration:
-Light scratches and nicks can often be addressed by a professional glass service.
