To preserve the beauty and longevity of your SVDA pieces, we recommend handling them with care using the following directions, ensuring they remain a cherished part of your collection for years to come.

Metals: Most metals on SVDA pieces are delivered with a live finish unless specified differently. The live finishes are designed to naturally patina over time.
• Maintenance (live and lacquered finishes): Clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth.
Do not use commercial or heavy-duty polishes or waxes as they may scratch or damage the finish.
• Restoration: To restore a polished finish on an item with a live or non-live finish, we recommend that they be professionally cleaned and polished.

Glass and Crystal:
Maintenance:

-Apply the glass cleaner with no additives to a soft cloth rather than directly onto the fixture to avoid overspray that may damage other finishes. -Glass and crystal can be cleaned by wiping with a soft, damp cloth or glass cleaner
Restoration:
Light scratches and nicks can often be addressed by a professional glass service.
