Antonia Astori was born in Melzo (Milan) in 1940. She graduated in Industrial and Visual Design at the Athenaeum of Lausanne in 1966. Starting in 1968 she worked as a designer for the Italian company Driade, designing several pieces of important furniture.  Antonia has also worked as an interior designer designing the shops for French designers Marithé and François Girbaud in Paris.
